Carrie On The Cover of Country Weekly (Source: Net Music Countdown)
NASHVILLE, TN Tuesday Mar.28.2006 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- Carrie Underwood is enjoying a lot of firsts this year - #1 single, #1 album, ACM Awards and CMT Music Awards Nominations -- and hitting newsstands on Monday, she will appear on her first Country Weekly cover.
Underwood posed for the photos in mid-February for the 7-page, spring-fashion spread, photographed by Kristin Barlowe.
Underwood modeled fashions by a few of her favorite
designers Nicole Miller, David Rodriguez and Kenneth Cole. The shoot took place in south Nashville the day before she filmed her new video "Don't Forget To Remember Me."

Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Auction

Don't Forget To Remember Me Video- Completed
The video for Don't Forget To Remember Me has been completed and was sent to CMT last Friday. The debut for the video is expected on CMT's Top Twenty before this week is over, or before next week is over at the latest. Stay tuned for exclusive photos once the video has aired and be sure to request it on CMT after it airs!
I would also like to mention that a new photo as came about. CUO recieved confirmation today that the photo IS NOT from the "Dont Forget To Remember Me" video but some sort of recently done Carrie photoshoot. Click on the photo to enlarge.

Carrie Readies for Latest Single
Carrie Underwood Online was the first to bring the news of Carrie's next single, "Dont Forget To Remember Me" last January. Now, Underwood is ready to debut her new single nationwide.
From Net Music Countdown: NASHVILLE, TN Thursday Mar.9.2006 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- Carrie Underwood will debut her second single, "Don't Forget To Remember Me," from her double-platinum-selling album "Some Hearts" with a debut appearances on "The Late Show with David Letterman" March 13th, and "Live with Regis & Kelly" on March 14th.
On March 18th, she will make her third Grand Ole Opry appearance on "Grand Ole Opry Live" which airs on GAC: Great American Country.
ALSO, CARRIE CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY TAPING VH1 SPECIAL...
Before landing in New York City, Carrie will head to Atlantic City where she will spend her 23rd birthday, March 10th, taping a VH1 Special with Heart "Decades Rock Live." Carrie is a huge Heart fan and is thrilled to be able to perform a song from her album as well as sing a song with Ann and Nancy Wilson for the television special slated to air 5/ 5th.

NASHVILLE, TN ( Carrie Underwood Official Website) - Double-platinum selling artist Carrie Underwood appears on the 4/ cover of SELF, her first major women's magazine cover. Carrie flew to New York for their photo session just days after singing the national anthem at the NFC championship game in Seattle at the end of January.
Carrie shares with SELF her new experiences with fans and how she's learned to deal with people's reactions to her since she was crowned the American Idol 2005 and released her debut album SOME HEARTS . She's often followed to the ladies' room for autographs, of which she graciously says, 'I appreciate that they're excited.' Carrie also reveals how she deals with stress. Her tips include taking bubble baths, indulging with chocolate and wearing her favorite sweats.
Carrie will celebrate the issue with SELF on March 15 at a party in New York City. She will serve as both host and guest of honor.

Carrie to appear at Sunfest 2006 in Florida (source: tcpalm.com)
The entertainment lineup has been announced for West Palm Beach's 2006 SunFest, taking place 5/ 4-7 along the Flagler Drive waterfront.
The headliners are last year's "American Idol" winner Carrie Underwood, acclaimed singer/songwriter Fiona Apple, pop star Ashlee Simpson and the ultra-popular rock band Train.
Tickets, $17 for one day and $35 for a four-day pass. Tickets at the gate will be $20 for one day and $40 for a four-day ticket. Those 65 and older pay $12 at the gate for a one day ticket, and children 12 and under can get in free with an adult.
Although the concerts are free with admission to SunFest, reserved seating will be available 4/ 7.
Advance SunFest tickets are on sale at SunFest headquarters, 525 Clematis St. in West Palm Beach, online at www.sunfest.com or by phone at (800) 786-3378.

Carrie Underwood, Lee Ann Womack and Loretta Lynn headline live performance to be televised nationally on March 18 NASHVILLE, TENN.- (March 1, 2006)- Great American County (GAC) presents a special edition of Grand Ole Opry Live celebrating great women in country music, featuring some of country music's most popular women performers.
The line-up includes current chart-topper and recent American Idol champion Carrie Underwood, Grammy award winner Lee Ann Womack, country legend Loretta Lynn and Opry member Lorrie Morgan, who hosts the program, that pays homage to country's all-time great female artists.
The special episode will be televised nationally on GAC on Saturday, March 18, at 8 p.m. ET. The scheduled performers are crooning not only about the concept, but also about the other performers scheduled to take the stage. "It's always great to share the stage with an icon like Loretta Lynn, especially on an evening that celebrates women of country music," said MCA recording artist Lee Ann Womack.
The Grand Ole Opry Live telecast will also include performances from Danielle Peck, Rebecca Lynn Howard, Jeannie Seely and Connie Smith, offering viewers a full range of styles, themes and eras. "GAC recognizes the importance of providing programming that reaches our audiences that span different age groups and demographics," said Sarah Trahern, GAC senior vice president of programming. "The Opry programming is successful because it extends beyond the traditional country genres and generations to attract various country music fans."
Fans who miss the live performance can watch the re-air on Sunday, March 19 at 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. ET. GAC is the exclusive television home of the Grand Ole Opry. Check local cable and satellite listings for channel information.
