Carrie is an animal lover. She grew up on her father's farm and is a advid vegetarian. She has a weakness for chocolate and cheese.

Carrie was recently quoted as writing everything down that she eats, and credits this plus exercising to her wondeful physique.

Carrie Marie Underwood

Carrie Underwood started singing in public when she was a small child and made her first studio recording at age 13. Carrie has peformed many festivals in a few states, trying to get her record career started. She grew up in Checotah, Oklahoma and has 2 siblings, Shanna and Stephanie.

Carrie performed at numerous festivals and various other shows in Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, & Tennessee and has been the opening act for "Diamond Rio", "The Wilkinson's", "Exile", " "Gene Watson," Billy Hoffman" and "Earl Thomas Conley". She is a member of First Freewill Baptist Church and yes she sings in the choir.

She was a Honor Student at Checotah High School in Checotah, Oklahoma. She spent a summer as a page for Oklahoma State Representative Bobby Frame. In the summer of 2004, Carrie tried out for American Idol Season 4. After making it through hollywood and many cuts, she was crowned the American Idol on May 25th, 2005.

Her First album, Some Hearts, was released in November of 2005 and is has sold over 8 million copies worldwide. She has won many awards including Grammies for her first debut album.

Her second album is called Carnival Ride was released on October 23rd, 2007. It has recently been certified Double Platinum by the RIAA.[3] The album includes the #1 country single "So Small" and the newest single "All-American Girl". The album debuted at #1 on the US Billboard 200 Chart selling 527,000 copies, giving Underwood her first #1 album.
